AT sponsors World Sailing Championship in Kiel

From 13 to 22 August 2014, Kiel attracts water sportsmen and sailing fans from all over the world. On the racing area in Schilksee, widely known through the famous "Kieler Woche", 170 boats from 10 countries will be competing in the official "SAP 505 World Championship Kiel 2014". The international 505 is a high performance racing dinghy, which has attracted many past time olympic sailors. This explains the very high level of competition in the 505 class.

With a background in sailing and volunteer work at the Hamburg Sailing Club (HSC) as well as in the international 505 class itself, Andreas Jungclaus and his company AT Automation Systems are sponsoring the international 505 racing dinghy class. Participation in the event also includes the support of container logistics for competitors from overseas and the opening ceremony. Look out for the company logo on the boom of each boat, on a large flag in the boat park and on roll-up displays during the opening ceremony.

AT sponsors HSC National League Team

In March 2014, AT Automation Systems took on the role of sponsor for the Hamburg Sailing Club's National League Team. Financing trainings, charter boats and travel expenses, an essential part of the costs involved in the preparation for the qualifying races was covered. In the event, 61 teams compete for a place in the Premier League. The team entering for the Hamburg Sailing Club was grouped around steerer Max Gurgel. Fellow sailors Daniel Zenker, Torben Strube and Karl Gurgel along with coaches Silke Hahlbrock and Marion Rommel mastered the competitions well prepared and, accordingly, came out very successful, with many first and second places along the way. In the end they secured a very good 7th place.
